This program is a visual art and design vocational education program in the field of fashion design. The concept of education in this program is to develop creativepreneurship with a "link & match" curriculum and educational method with the world of the fashion industry.
Academic Activities
The learning process in the Diploma Program in Arts and Design consists of major fashion design courses taught by lecturers consisting of academics, as well as fashion design practitioners. Some of the typical courses are jewellery, fashion style & trend research, and public lectures with speakers from the industry. At the final stage of the study period, all students will be directly involved in organizing a fashion show, starting from the preparation of the final project of fashion creation, being involved in organizing a fashion show event, to exhibiting their work in a fashion show attended by academics, practitioners, professionals, industry, as well as the fashion-lover community.
Future and Career
Graduates of this program have practical skills in the fashion field, from design to final production, with the ability to become entrepreneurs who are ready to enter the creative industry. Many graduates of this program work as fashion designers, fashion stylists, fashion illustrators, merchandisers, fashion entrepreneurs, and other professions in the fashion field.
